Weekly Call: The Water Element with Mary Zelmer
Water is one of the five elements in Eastern medicine. It is said that yin and yang can be broken into five parts which are the five elements. Each element represents an organ system, a season, a color, and spirit. There is a yin and yang organ for each element, one being solid and the other hollow.
Water represents winter and our kidney system. Water energy is all about flow. The solid organ is the kidneys and the hollow organ is the bladder. The spirit is Zhi. The color is blue. The water element corresponds with nighttime within the five elements, for the water element is found between the elements of metal (sunset) and wood(sunrise).
Come and join us to explore and flow with the harmonious nature of the elements, starting with water.
